The 7th head, Takasada (1167-1222)
Last Modified:10/17/2022
Because Takanaga died at the ”Battle of Dan-no-Ura," Takasada succeeded Kikuchi. His main territory was kept, but was given cold shoulder by Minamoto government.
Takasada called on the deity of Ubu Shrine in Nanatsubo, Yonejima Hachiman Shrine and Takamatsu Hachiman Shrine in Kamoto.
His grave is at residents' site in Mitsugi, and is buried with his brothers, Takanaga and Hidenao.
